Salman Khan’s appearance on the premiere episode of The Great Indian Kapil Show Season 3 brought plenty of laughs and candid moments. While the original episode aired with much fanfare, Kapil Sharma has now treated fans to unseen footage from the same shoot, offering more insight into Salman’s stories, banter, and behind-the-scenes revelations.
In this bonus clip shared on Kapil’s YouTube channel, Salman was asked about the possibility of doing a movie with Shah Rukh Khan and Aamir Khan. Reacting to Aamir’s earlier comments about wanting to bring the three Khans together for a film, Salman said, “Let them try. Jab hoga tab hoga.”
Kapil also brought up Aamir’s idea of the three superstars going on a vacation to an undisclosed location. Sharing his thoughts on it, Salman revealed, “Aamir told me that SRK, me and him should make a trip together. We are working it out… a place where nobody knows us.” Archana Puran Singh, quick to respond, joked that such a place doesn’t exist, suggesting the moon instead. Salman replied with a grin, “Maybe it will work but how long it will work, we will see.”
The segment turned even more nostalgic when Kapil showed Salman quirky posters of himself placed in odd locations. Asked if he had ever found his own poster in a strange spot, Salman shared a memory from Kareena Kapoor’s childhood. “It is long time ago, I think I have heard in Kareena Kapoor’s bathroom. I was shown my poster at her house, I think she was 8-9 years old at that time, she was a fan. After she became 15-16 years old, my poster was replaced by Rahul Roy’s poster,” he said.
Kareena and Salman, who have worked together in films like Bodyguard, Kyon Ki, and Bajrangi Bhaijaan, share a long-standing professional bond.
Later in the clip, Salman also opened up about his fitness inspiration, pointing to veteran actor Dharmendra. He mentioned how Dharmendra’s workout photos motivated him early in his career.
Speaking about his father Salim Khan’s lifestyle at age 89, Salman said, “He (Salim Khan) eats 2-3 parathas, meat, rice. He also has dessert twice a day. His metabolism is different. He is also very disciplined. He walks all the way to Band Stand and back every morning.”
