The veteran actor, who has been widely appreciated for his role as Jameel Jamali, addressed the rumours after they began circulating widely on social media and entertainment portals.

In a video message, Bedi clarified that there is no truth to these claims and urged fans and media outlets not to believe everything being reported without verification. Responding in a light-hearted manner, he remarked that no such amount had reached his account, subtly dismissing the viral buzz.

The reports had suggested that the makers of Dhurandhar rewarded Bedi with a hefty bonus due to the overwhelming response to his character. His performance had indeed struck a chord with audiences, leading to speculation that the production team had acknowledged his contribution in a big way.
