Navya Naveli Nanda’s podcast, What The Hell? Navya has gained momentum with each episode. Fans are enjoying the playful banter between Navya, her mother Shweta Bachchan, including grandma Jaya Bachchan and are eager to know more about their unique generational perspective. In the second season, Navya has discussed a wide range of topics including modern love, social media anxiety and other challenges in life. In the latest episode, the three indulge in discussing culinary traditions in their households. Navya shared an interesting anecdote about her experience in the kitchen.

In the recent episode, Navya Naveli Nanda spoke candidly about her love for spicy food. However, when she tried her hand in the kitchen, it did not go as expected. She recalled an incident in which she prepared Aglio e Olio for her brother Agastya Nanda and grandmother Jaya Bachchan. However, her love of spice drove her to make the dish extremely zesty. Navya exclaimed, “They were like ‘are you trying to kill us?’ There’s so much chilli in this pasta.” While eating, her brother and grandmother were in tears. But both of them made sure to finish it despite it not being according to their taste.

Moving on, during the podcast, Navya also revealed her family’s favourite dish, which is aloo chilka. According to her, every home has a signature dish, and theirs is aloo chilka. She also revealed about the habit of naming dishes after family members, such as Nani Ma’s Bengali-style khichdi and Mama Toast. There’s also Navya’s aloo, which she made herself. But interestingly, Agastya Nanda and Abhishek do not have any signature dish.

They also revealed about Amitabh Bachchan’s favourite dish which is pasta made by Shweta Bachchan’s pasta, Jaya Bachchan shared that Amitabh gets upset when he is offered pasta that is not made by Shweta Bachchan. Navya added that the megastar always says, “I will eat Shweta’s pasta.” Jaya added that he always demands that Shweta make it.

Meanwhile, following a successful first season, Navya Naveli Nanda returned for a second season of the podcast in February and has posted around 8 episodes so far.
