Superstar Mohanlal has officially announced the title of his upcoming film, Patriot. The film, which is already making waves for its stellar cast, will also feature Mammootty and Nayanthara in pivotal roles. Mohanlal and Mammootty will be reuniting on the big screen after 16 long years. The film has currently been tentatively titled as MMMN.
Reportedly, Mohanlal jetted off to Sri Lanka for a new schedule of the film. He gave an interview to the Sri Lankan media, he revealed that title of the film. He said, “This is my second visit [to the country], because we had a previous schedule. We’re doing a big film. Big film, in the sense, star cast – myself, Mammootty, Fahadh Faasil, Kunchako Boban and many others. The name of the movie is ‘Patriot’.”
Recently, Anto Joseph Film Company gave fans a sneak peek, sharing a warm behind-the-scenes video of Nayanthara’s arrival on set. In the one-minute clip, the actress was seen warmly interacting with Mammootty, director Mahesh Narayanan and others. The video also offers a glimpse of the buzzing set, with cameras and equipment all geared up for action. However, the makers have played it smart — not a single frame of the movie itself is revealed, keeping fans guessing about what this much-anticipated film has in store.

MMMN also brings Nayanthara and Mammootty back together on screen after nearly a decade, their last collaboration being Puthiya Niyamam in 2016. Fans have loved their chemistry in previous hits like Bhaskar the Rascal (2015), Rappakal (2005), and Thaskara Veeran (2005).
The journey of MMMN kicked off in grand style with a traditional pooja and switch-on ceremony last year in November in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Mohanlal and Mammootty were present there as well. Since then, filming has been moving full steam ahead, with major scenes featuring the four lead men already wrapped up.
