Malayalam Actor Govind Padmasoorya To Make His Hindi Debut With This Film
Govind shared pictures from the film’s launch ceremony on Instagram.
Govind Padmasoorya will step into the Hindi film industry with the movie The Mentor, directed by Vinil.
Malayalam actor Govind Padmasoorya made his debut in the South with the 2008 film Adayalangal. There has been no looking back for him since then. He has received unparalleled love for his acting prowess. Now, he is all set to make his Bollywood debut. Govind Padmasoorya will step into the Hindi film industry with the movie The Mentor, directed by Vinil. The film had its launch ceremony on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra on October 24 at 06:45 PM at Ramjanmbhoomi, Uttar Pradesh. The muhurat ceremony was held at Ram Katha Park. The Mentor is based on the subject of Kabaddi. Debutants from all corners of the country have been roped in to play different roles in the film. Sooraj Anand has taken the responsibility of cinematography for the film. Steven H Bernard has been roped in to handle the editing, while Gopi Sundar will compose the music for this movie.
Touted to be a pan-India film, The Mentor will be shot in Kerala, Maharashtra, and Varanasi. Sameer Vivek, Nikhil, Milton Thomas, Rupesh Murugan, Sunil Nattakkal, Shashi Dudhuwal, and other actors comprise the cast of this movie.
Govind shared some pictures from the launch ceremony on Instagram. Govind was dressed in a traditional outfit and stood with the cast members. Some of the women and men were dressed in blue jerseys, as shown in the last picture. Govind Padmasoorya wrote in the caption, “Witnessing Ayodhya ki Ramleela on Dussehra to getting an opportunity to stand on that stage and launch our debut Hindi movie The Mentor, this day would always remain very very special!”
He also attached the song Ram Siya Ram in the clip, sung by singer and composer Sachet Tandon.
Govind is also a step ahead on the personal front, as he recently got married to actress Gopika Anil. It was a private affair with only the couple’s family members and close friends invited to the ceremony. In their engagement ceremony, Govind Padmasoorya can be seen dressed in a sherwani and turban. Gopika looked gorgeous in a lehenga.
Govind last acted in the movie Neeraja.
