Anushree, Vishnu Unnikrishnan, and Moksha join hands together for this new film.

Bengali actress Mokksha, who marked her entry into Malayalam cinema with the film Kallanum Bhagavathiyum, has made a comeback. The auspicious ceremony for her new movie, written and directed by East Coast Vijayan and produced by East Coast Communications, took place at the premises of the Sri Anchumana Devi Temple in Swichon Karmanal Edapalli. Additionally, Anushree is set to take on the leading role alongside Amit Chakkalackal.

The movie is a combination of horror, family drama, and emotional thrills, featuring a mix of established Malayalam stars and fresh faces. Significantly, this marks the seventh production by the East Coast. Following Kallanum Bhagavathy, East Coast Vijayan is crafting the storyline for this new film, with the screenplay and dialogues handled by KV. Anil. It’s worth mentioning that the team behind Kallanum Bhagavathiyum is coming together once again for this project.

The main cast includes Anushree, Vishnu Unnikrishnan, and Mokksha. It also features supporting roles from several artists, such as Salim Kumar, Premkumar, Johnny Antony, Nobby, Rajesh Madhav, Srikanth Murali, Ratheesh Guinness, Jaya Shankar, Jayan Cherthala, Jayaprakash Kullur, Mala Parvathy, and others.

Director and producer East Coast Vijayan revealed that even lesser-known actors turned down the opportunity to portray a goddess in his film Kallanum Bhagavathiyum, which ultimately led to Bengali actor Mokksha taking on the role. During a recent press event, he mentioned that Mokksha delivered a commendable performance in the character.

Vijayan explained that after selecting Vishnu Unnikrishnan as the protagonist of Kallanum Bhagavathiyum, they approached numerous well-known and lesser-known actors for the role of the Goddess, but all declined, with some not even acknowledging the offer. He expressed his desire to cast a fresh face for the role of the goddess, which led to the discovery of Mokksha from the land associated with Goddess Durga. Vijayan felt that Mokksha possessed an intangible, divine quality, and he praised her for her exceptional portrayal of the character.
