Sohail Khan marked his debut as a film producer and director with the 1997 action thriller film Auzaar. It featured Salman Khan and Sanjay Kapoor in the lead role. A year later, Sohail Khan directed the film Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, which starred both his brother Salman and Arbaaz. Following the same, the youngest son in the Khan family took another step towards producing Hello Brother, featuring his brothers again in 1999.
