Housefull 5 First Weekend Box Office Collection Revealed

Housefull 5 has had an impressive start. Featuring Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, & more, the film opened to a solid response.

According to reports, it earned ₹32 crore on its first Sunday, pushing its total collection to ₹87 crore.

According to the trade portal, Akshay Kumar’s latest release earned ₹24 crore on its opening day, surpassing the first-day numbers of the previous installment and his recent films like Sky Force and Kesari Chapter 2. The film grew further on Day 2, collecting ₹31 crore and bringing its domestic total to ₹55 crore.

On its third day, which coincided with its first Sunday, the film continued its impressive run by collecting ₹32 crore, pushing the domestic total to ₹87 crore. According to reports, it outperformed both Sky Force and Kesari Chapter 2 in first weekend numbers. With its current momentum, the film is steadily approaching the ₹100 crore mark and could cross the milestone as early as Monday.

Akshay Kumar surprised fans by donning the iconic killer mask from Housefull 5 and standing outside a Bandra theatre with a mic to gather reactions from the audience. Sharing a video of the fun stunt on Instagram, he captioned it, “Just felt like wearing the killer mask and chatting with people coming out of the Housefull 5 show in Bandra today. Almost got caught in the end… but managed to slip away just in time. What a fun experience!”

In addition to Akshay Kumar, Housefull 5 features a star-studded ensemble including Abhishek Bachchan, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, Chunky Pandey, Nikitin Dheer, and Johnny Lever. Interestingly, the film was released with two alternate climax sequences and has garnered a mixed response from critics.
