Harshvardhan Rane says he won’t do Sanam Teri Kasam 2 if Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane is part of it –
Harshvardhan Rane won’t work with Mawra Hocane:
Harshvardhan Rane and Pakistani actress Mawra Hocane starred together in the Bollywood movie Sanam Teri Kasam. After the Indian army launched Operation Sindoor against terrorism, Mawra Hocane called it “cowardly” and criticized the Indian army. Reacting to that, Rane stands firm with his country and has made it clear that he won’t do Sanam Teri Kasam 2 if any Pakistani actress is part of it. Kudos to the Bollywood actor.
Harshvardhan wrote on his Instagram story, “While I am grateful for the experience, however, as things stand, and after reading the direct comments made about my country, I have made a decision to respectfully decline to be a part of Sanam Teri Kasam part 2 if there is any possibility of the previous cast being repeated.”
In the next story, he slammed Mawra Hocane, sharing the screenshot of her tweet, in which she criticized the Indian Army‘s Operation Sindoor. He wrote, “I respect all the artists and people of this country, that country, Kenya, and even Mars, but this kind of derogatory remarks about my country by anyone are unpardonable. I am okay with losing followers on Instagram, but I won’t allow anyone to walk over my pride and upbringing. Standing by your country is good, but disrespectful, hateful remarks about other countries are not.”
