This time, veteran actor Anil Kapoor takes the reins as host, replacing Salman Khan for the digital version of the popular reality show.
Anticipation is high for the upcoming season, with rumors swirling about the contestant list. The makers have also hinted at a new twist: contestants may need viewer approval to enter the house, eliminating fake fan followings and upping the audience engagement. So far the tentative list of Bigg Boss OTT 3 contestants includes names like Shezaan Khan, Shehzada Dhami, Pratiksha Honmukhe, Vicky Jain, Parasa Kalnawat, Thugesh, Maxtern, Dolly Chaiwala and Vada Pav Didi.
Bigg Boss OTT 3 will stream on the JioCinema App from June 21. In a statement, Anil Kapoor talked about his association with Bigg Boss and said, “We are both young at heart. People often say, jokingly, that I’m reverse aging, but Bigg Boss is seriously timeless. It feels a bit like going back to school and trying something new and exciting. Having said that, I’ve always approached all my projects with sincerity and a commitment to hard work and I’m going to bring that same energy (10 times) to Bigg Boss! Unscripted reality has something for everyone – laughter, drama, and surprising twists, and I can’t wait to bring my own flavor to it!”
