Amitabh Bachchan Says He Is Feeling ‘Blessed’, Thanks Fans For ‘Love and Affection’ On 81st Birthday

On Wednesday evening, Amitabh Bachchan also made a special appearance outside his Jalsa residence in Mumbai to meet and greet his fans.

Amitabh Bachchan took to his Instagram handle in the wee hours on Thursday to express gratitude towards fans for sending him birthday wishes. The Bollywood superstar mentioned that he is feeling ‘blessed’ for getting immense ‘love and affection’ from fans on his special day.

“This love and affection it beyond any effort to repay it .. blessed and filled with unending gratitude,” Amitabh wrote as he also dropped a picture from his Wednesday evening fan meet outside his residence. Check out the post here:

On Wednesday evening, Amitabh Bachchan made a special appearance outside his Jalsa residence in Mumbai to meet and greet his fans. He was seen sporting chandan-tika and wore multiple garlands, as he stepped outside his home. Several photos and videos of Big B also went viral on social media.

A number of Bollywood celebrities including Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Jay Devgn among others also wished Amitabh Bachchan on his birthday. Shah Rukh Khan also penned down a heartwarming note for Big B and wrote, “Tough runs don’t last….tough runners do. And Sir you are the toughest of them all. Last 30 yrs just being around u and breathing the same air as you….has been a blessing. Wish u the best on your birthday….keep running & inspiring us. Sir and that Gym of yours… is unbelievable. Love u! @SrBachchan.”

Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan has a number of projects in his pipeline. The actor is currently hosting Kaun Banega Crorepati. He has Kalki AD 2898 with Prabhas and Deepika Padukone. Besides this, it was recently announced that Big B will also reunite with Rajinikanth for his upcoming Tamil film. He will also be seen in Tiger Shroff’s Ganapath, which will hit theatres later this month.
