Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar is known for his discipline and punctuality. Besides this, he also has a playful side, often engaging in light-hearted pranks with his co-stars. This humorous streak was on full display at the recent trailer launch of his highly anticipated upcoming film, Housefull 5. During the event, he pulled a quick prank on co-star Nargis Fakhri.
A video doing the rounds on the internet captures Akshay greeting the actress. But during a seemingly warm embrace, he executed his prank by sticking a paper on her back that read ‘Sajid Nadiadwala’. As soon as she realised that Akshay pasted something on her back, she burst out in laughter.
Later, Sonam Bajwa helped Nargis remove the stick-on. Upon seeing what was written on it, the actress laughed out ever louder and then pasted the same on Akshay Kumar’s blazer.
Housefull 5, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, boasts a talented ensemble cast, promising a comedic extravaganza. The film features franchise regulars Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh and Abhishek Bachchan, along with new additions Sanjay Dutt, Fardeen Khan, Shreyas Talpade, Nana Patekar, Sonam Bajwa, Soundarya Sharma, Jackie Shroff, Dino Morea, Jacqueline Fernandez, Nargis Fakhri, Chitrangada Singh, Chunky Pandey and Johnny Lever.
The fifth installment of the popular Housefull franchise takes audiences on a luxurious cruise, promising a rollercoaster of laughs, unexpected twists, and rib-tickling humour. The film includes a selection of chartbuster songs that will leave audiences grooving. Produced by Sajid Nadiadwala under his banner Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, Housefull 5 is slated to sail into cinemas worldwide on June 6.
The film’s soundtrack features music by several artists, including Yo Yo Honey Singh, White Noise Collectives, Tanishk Bagchi and Kratex, while the background score is composed by Julius Packiam.
The Housefull franchise began with the first film directed by Sajid Khan in 2010, followed by its sequel two years later. Sajid Samji and Farhad Samji took the directorial reins for the third part in 2016. Housefull 4 was released in 2019, leaving fans eagerly awaiting this latest installment.
