Adil Khan Durrani Says His Marriage With Rakhi Sawant Is ‘Null and Void’: ‘Mujhe Dhoke Mein Rakh…’

Adil Khan Durrani also accused Rakhi Sawant of spreading negativity and argued, “I deserve to live a good life”.
Days after Rakhi Sawant’s former husband Adil Khan Durrani married Somi Khan, he has now said that his wedding with Sawant stands “null and void”. In a recent interview, Adil claimed that Rakhi was already married to someone else even when he was with her and added that a court case regarding the same is underway. Adil further justified his second marriage with Somi and argued that he had done nothing wrong.
“Many people have this question in their mind, how did I get married again? Alhamdulillah I have the full right to get married again as I’m a Muslim and I can get married. I have done nikah properly in the presence of my family. I did not have a secret wedding. Bina family ke, band Kamre mein nikah nahi kiya hai maine. I have given Meher proper and with the approval of both Somi and my family. I also did a reception. After getting married officially to Somi, main ghoom raha hoon apni biwi Somi ke saath. I’m allowed to get married,” Adil told E-Times.
Khan further accused Rakhi Sawant of spreading negativity and argued, “I deserve to live a good life”. “She has always spread negativity and she can never give happiness to anyone. Woh Kisi bhi insaan ke life mein enter karke khushiyaan nahi de sakti hai, I’m not like her. I like to spread happiness and Somi has brought happiness in my life and I’m enjoying my happy and peaceful life with her,” he added.
Adil Khan Durrani announced his marriage to Somi Khan on March 7 this year. Somi Khan was a part of Bigg Boss 12 with her sister, Saba Khan. Dipika Kakar had emerged as the winner of Salman Khan’s show during that season.
Adil Khan Durrani was previously married to Rakhi Sawant. However, they parted ways last year after the Bigg Boss fame levelled several allegations against Adil and accused him of being involved in extramarital affairs. Adil was then picked up from Rakhi’s residence and arrested on February 7, 2023. He was released after spending five months in jail.
Prior to Adil, Rakhi was also married to Ritesh. The two entered the Bigg Boss 15 house together but parted ways soon after the show’s grand finale. In February 2022, Rakhi announced her separation from Ritesh and shared a statement claiming ‘a lot happened’ after Salman Khan’s reality show.
