‘Pride Is My Life’: Says Diljit Dosanjh As He Refused To Work With His Dream Director. Checkout!


Actor, Singer and Producer Diljit Dosanjh is from those who has made this big not only in Punjab but in Bollywood too. Recently, the global star has celebrated his 39th birthday and go candid about his views and experience throughout his career. After Working in Punjab so long, Diljit debuted his Bollywood career from Udta Punjab and was paired with Kareena Kapoor.

The singer and actor reveled his motivation and the factors that drives him in this profession. Jatt and Juliet starrer spoke about the term “Safe Career” in an Interview and about the job insecurities as well. While discussing Diljit said, “Pride is my life. If money had been a concern, I would have performed in more movies, marriage shows, and four to five Punjabi movies annually. I don’t chase after money. Since I was a child, I have always wished to be famous. Fame knows no bounds. All I want is to live a happy life and accomplish excellent work. Whatever I am capable of, I am grateful to God and I am glad about it. He also revealed how he turned down a significant picture from one of his favourite directors, adding, “Only yesterday, I turned down a significant feature. I never act in a way that I don’t feel like doing only to make money. I only do it when I enjoy the topic”.

He continued, “I also perform live, write music, and annually release an album; all of this requires a lot of time. I would have appeared in more movies if I were merely an actor. I would have recorded a lot more songs if I was just a singer. While I am making every effort, I do not want to beat the tabla. Everything I do is at my own pace”. Talking about the work front, Diljit will be seen in Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film, Chamkila.
