Salman Khan’s Dabangg Fight Scene Was Copied From RDJ’s Sherlock Holmes; Checkout Story!

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is beloved by his fans. He’s a popular actor who has appeared in over 80 Hindi-language films.

His movies are known for their action sequences. They often have visually appealing fight scenes that get whistles from the audience.

The way Salman hits Sonu Sood

Twitter  alleged that Salman Khan’s fight scene in Dabangg was copied from RDJ’s Sherlock Holm (Sherlock Holmes) movie. It claims that the actor’s punch to Sonu Sood was the same as a hit in the Hollywood movie.

However, if you look closely at the video posted by Twitter, you’ll notice that the actor’s move is slightly different. The punch is not a knee to the face, but rather a blow to the side of the head.

It’s also worth noting that Chulbul Pandey, the protagonist of Dabangg, is a character who often abuses power. The scene is a celebratory depiction of his omnipotence. And it’s difficult to feel comfortable with its brazen embrace of the protagonist’s wilful misdeeds.

Twitter users have shared a video. It compares the fight scene between Salman Khan and Sonu Sood in Dabangg to Robert Downey Jr.’s Sherlock Holmes (2009). The video  “Bhai of Baker Street” is sarcastic. This is because it puts the 2009 Hollywood film on top while the Hindi version is put on the bottom.

The ‘Dabangg’ story revolves around Chulbul Pandey (Salman) and his half brother Makhanchan. As Makhanchan carries out acts of vengeance oblivious to their consequences, Chulbul becomes their only defense against the corrupt local politician Cheddi Singh played by Sonu Sood.

The comedy is very entertaining and Salman’s performance as Chulbul Pandey is arguably his best. He never strays from mixing up the silly with the serious and that’s what makes this movie so funny.

“Dabangg 3” is the third instalment in the series and stars Salman and Sonakshi Sinha along with Arbaaz Khan, Amole Gupte, Mahie Gill and Tinnu Anand. It also marks the debut of actor-filmmaker Mahesh Manjerakar’s daughter Saiee Manjrekar.

The film is a potboiler and is based on the same formula as the originals. It doesn’t go far enough to touch the standard set by its predecessors but it is a treat for Salman Khan fans.

Also, The video has been shared on Twitter with the caption, “Salman Khan has the exact same moves as Robert Downey Jr. No Sh*t Sherlock!”

Therefore, the scene shows Sonu Sood receiving a punch from Salman exactly like in the Hollywood film. The only difference is that in the latter, the actor flicks his blood on his opponent.
