Akshay Kumar’s latest comedy entertainer Welcome To The Jungle is showing positive signs at the box office in its opening weekend. After a decent start, the film is now looking at a good jump on its second day.

Welcome To The Jungle Box Office Collection:

The movie collected around ₹14.5 crore nett on Friday, which marked its first full day in theatres. In addition to this, the film had already earned approximately ₹3.5 crore nett through paid previews on Thursday evening. This brought its total to a healthy ₹18 crore nett before heading into Saturday.

Now, all eyes are on Day 2, where the film is expected to see at least a 20% jump in collections. If evening and night shows perform even better, the growth could go up to 25-30%. Based on current trends, the second-day collection is expected to be around ₹18 crore nett or slightly higher.

With this, the film’s two-day total is likely to reach around ₹32.5 crore nett. Including the preview numbers, the overall total could stand at approximately ₹36 crore nett. These numbers indicate that the film is holding steady and building momentum over the weekend.

Sunday is expected to be another big day for the film. Early estimates suggest that the movie could comfortably cross ₹55 crore nett by the end of its opening weekend. There is also a chance that it may touch the ₹60 crore mark if the growth continues strongly.

While the film is already looking like a success, its real test will begin on Monday. To achieve a “Hit” verdict, it will need to maintain stable collections during the weekdays as well.
