Vikram Bhatt’s story may not be very convincing but it has a lot of intrigue. His screenplay keeps the audience engaged and involved. Although the chills and thrills are few, they do send shivers down the spine. Also, the twists and turns in the drama are quite engrossing. Shweta Bothra’s dialogues are alright.On the whole, Haunted Echoes Of The Past is a fairly entertaining film.

Haunted 3D: Echoes of the Past will not haunt you after you leave the theatre, but it does just enough to keep you seated till the end. But the bigger question you leave with is whether budget can continue to be an excuse for average filmmaking. .And that’s where Vikram Bhatt’s latest horror outing falls short. It definitely had an interesting premise and enough material to become something much bigger!

The first instalment of this franchise was such a massive success that even years later, the buzz around it refuses to die down. Audiences are still turning up in theatres with high expectations. This is despite a disappointing teaser and an even weaker trailer. The actors stood still like wax statues while their dialogue carried on for a few seconds before the scene resumed. Honestly, with a film like this, I genuinely couldn’t tell if it was a technical glitch or a creative choice.So in conclusion, Haunted 3D: Echoes Of The Past has no real scares, no real acting, no real sets, no real supervision, no real drama, no real crows and no real 3D effects. What it does have, however, is an abundance of glorious schlock.
