Kabuni Brings Elite Cricket Coaching to Every Player; Sourav Ganguly, ABD, Shane Watson Present –
Kabuni Launch Event:
Kabuni, an innovative AI-driven global sports platform, officially launched at its debut Playtime 2026 event in Mumbai, marking a significant step toward making elite cricket coaching accessible to players of all skill levels.
Blending sport, technology, and interactive play, Kabuni introduces a first-of-its-kind training ecosystem that delivers real-time, personalised coaching using advanced artificial intelligence. The platform enables players to refine their skills anytime and anywhere, redefining how cricket training is experienced.
As part of its global rollout, Kabuni has introduced its “Super Coaches” lineup, featuring legendary cricketers Sourav Ganguly, Shane Watson, AB de Villiers, and Shreyas Iyer. These icons will actively mentor and inspire young talent through interactive challenges and structured youth tournaments.
At its core, Kabuni aims to place a world-class cricket coach in every player’s pocket, breaking down barriers to high-quality training. Created by parents who understand the growing concerns around excessive screen time, the platform encourages users to engage in active, skill-building experiences instead of passive consumption.
Founder Nimesh Patel developed Kabuni with a vision to reconnect young people with sport, drawing inspiration from his own life experiences and the transformative impact of cricket. The platform also supports parents, educators, and coaches in promoting healthier, more active lifestyles among youth.
Kabuni’s proprietary system, Kabuni PlayOS, uses real-time analysis to evaluate key performance factors such as timing, balance, alignment, footwork, and sequencing. By leveraging performance data from top international cricketers, it delivers instant, actionable insights—previously accessible only through elite training academies.
India, home to one of the world’s most passionate cricket audiences, has been chosen as the launch market. Following an initial testing phase and collaborations with major sporting bodies, Kabuni plans a global rollout later this year.
The launch also coincides with a nationwide campaign titled “Do You Want to Play for a Legend?”, offering young cricketers aged 12–16 a chance to compete for spots on teams led by the Super Coaches. Participants will train using the platform, undergo nationwide trials, and compete in a national youth tournament at a premier cricket venue.
Speaking about the initiative, founder Nimesh Patel said that Kabuni aims to remove key barriers such as limited access to quality coaching and competitive pathways. By integrating AI-powered training with structured competitions, the platform creates opportunities for young players to develop and showcase their talent regardless of their background.
With a scalable model that complements rather than replaces traditional coaching, Kabuni is designed to support initiatives ranging from school-level programs to national competitions. By making elite coaching affordable and widely accessible, the platform seeks to unlock potential and create new pathways for aspiring cricketers worldwide.
