Vipul Amrutlal Shah about Alien-Thriller with Akshay Kumar:

Producer Vipul Amrutlal Shah has opened up about his much-anticipated reunion with Akshay Kumar, confirming that their upcoming project will be an ambitious alien thriller inspired by Hollywood classics like Predator and Aliens.

Speaking about the film, Shah said, “I’ll just briefly say one thing. Coming back after six films that we did together, and one of the things that me and Akshay always tried is to never repeat our genres. We kept doing genres which are different from the last film — whether it was Aankhein, Waqt, Namaste London, Singh is King, Action Replayy, Holiday and now again, for the seventh time, we’re working together. And we are bringing a new genre to Indian cinema.”

The filmmaker emphasized that Indian cinema has rarely explored this space at a large scale. He added, “We haven’t had a great Predator, Alien-type film. This film will be directed by Kanishk Verma, and it has some of the best Hollywood technicians. It’s a big action film that we are mounting. So we are very excited about it.”

Over the years, Shah and Akshay Kumar have delivered several successful films across genres, from comedy to action and drama. With this new venture, the duo aims to push boundaries by introducing a full-fledged alien-action spectacle to Bollywood.

The film, directed by Kanishk Verma, is expected to blend high-end visual effects with intense action, backed by international expertise. While more details about the plot and cast are under wraps, the announcement itself has already generated strong curiosity among fans.
