The actor also reflected on Iran’s historical global relationships, noting that the nation once shared strong ties with Israel and the United States. She added that recent protests in Iran had resulted in casualties, stating, “A month ago, many Iranians who protested against this regime were killed.”

Elnaaz further revealed her personal fears about visiting her homeland. “I can’t set foot in Iran. If I do, I think they will kill me. I couldn’t go to Iran because of what happened during the 2022 movement, when they killed Mahsa Amini,” she said, referring to the death of Mahsa Amini, which sparked widespread protests in 2022.
