In an exclusive chat with Instant Bollywood, Kajol recently got candid about what she truly admires about Karan Johar.
“I admire lots of things about Karan Johar. I admire his dharam and his Dharma,” she joked.
Kajol and Karan have had a long journey together. From the fun and emotional rollercoaster of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to the family drama of Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and the intense, emotional ride of My Name Is Khan, they’ve created movie magic that fans still cherish.
“We’ve been friends for a very long time,” Kajol continued. “I admire the fact that he is able to make his friendships legendary. He has some sort of connection with everyone. Which is not easy.”

In a world where people often drift apart due to busy schedules and fast-paced lives, Kajol pointed out how rare it is to find someone who truly puts effort into maintaining relationships.
“In today’s world, maintaining relationships isn’t easy. It’s very difficult. That’s one thing I really, really admire about him,” she said honestly.
Of course, Kajol also praised Karan’s professional side. “And of course, I really, really admire him as a director and a producer. He has produced and directed some wonderful, wonderful films.”
There’s no denying the impact Karan Johar has had on Kajol’s career and on Bollywood as a whole. It’s heartwarming to see such genuine respect and warmth between the two industry legends.
