When you think of a superstar like Salman Khan, you might imagine a life full of tight security, locked doors, and limited access. But according to Sooraj Pancholi, Salman Khan is quite the opposite. In fact, his house is one of the most welcoming places you can walk into. Literally.
In a candid chat with Instant Bollywood, Sooraj recently shared some heartwarming stories about his bond with Salman sir and how generous and down-to-earth the actor truly is. It is about how big his heart is and how open his home has always been.
Sooraj talked about how Salman’s house, the famous Galaxy Apartments, is never really locked.

“Their Galaxy house was always open. Anyone who wanted to come, could come. No lock, always open.” That might sound surprising in today’s world, but it was just how things worked at Salman’s place. “You could just push it anytime and walk right in. Whenever you wanted. You could open their fridge and eat whatever you want. I didn’t do that, of course,” Sooraj added with a smile.

It was not just about the doors being open. Salman’s generosity went far beyond that. “You want their protein shake to drink? You want their vitamins or heat up their leftover biryani? No one’s gonna say no,” said Sooraj.

Whether it was something as simple as water or as fancy as a meal, guests were never made to feel like guests. They were treated like family.
Even on film sets, Salman made sure everyone was fed. “When it’s lunch or dinner time, it’s not just for him; the whole unit eats. And the food comes from his own home,” Sooraj shared. “Very few people know this that his dining table is even bigger than this room. And it’s not just for him; it’s for anyone who wants to eat. Pick up a plate, take some food, no one is ever turned away.”
This sense of care even extended to fitness. “Same goes for the gym he sets up,” Sooraj added. Whether it is food, space, or support, Salman is always ready to share. And what’s more special is that he does all of this quietly, without looking for attention or praise.
Sooraj summed it up beautifully with a small moment. “Even if it’s in the morning, he’d say, ‘You’re here? You had food?’ He would do his thing, then go back to the room and sleep.”
In a world where people often guard their homes and hearts, Salman Khan seems to do the opposite. He opens both without a second thought. And that, more than his fame or films, might just be the best thing about Salman Khan.
